Recap: X-mas NBA2K23 tournament

Together with Stad Kortrijk and the organisation of the annual international X-Mas basketball tournament, which takes place in Kortrijk, We Are Esports organised a series of gaming tournaments. More specifically, the game NBA2K23 was chosen for this tournament series to engage the local community but also the basketball, gaming and esport communities that love this game.

We also invited some influencers to join in on the fun and it was a joyful experience for everyone involved. The event was not only about gaming but also about sports, esports and having fun. It was a great opportunity to bring together local sports and gaming enthusiasts in one place. 

In the end Jakob Delameilleure, a youth player for the basketball team of Kortrijk Spurs, ended up proving he was both strong on the regular basketball court as on the digital one.
